  7. "어서 오세요" (eoseo oseyo) is the welcoming response, meaning "Welcome back."
  8. "미안합니다" (mianhamnida) and "죄송합니다" (joesonghamnida) both mean "I'm sorry," with the latter being more formal and serious.
  9. "아닙니다" (anibnida) means "It's not" or "No," and "괜찮습니다" (gwaenchanseumnida) means "It's okay" or "No problem," often used to dismiss the need for an apology.
  10. Asking "식사하셨어요?" (siksa-ha-syeoss-eo-yo?) is like saying "Have you eaten?" which is a common way to show care in Korea.
  11. "네, 했어요" (ne, haesseoyo) means "Yes, I have," confirming that one has eaten.
  12. "잘 지냈어요?" (jal jinaesseoyo?) means "Have you been well?" It's a standard way to ask about someone's well-being.
  13. "네, 잘 지내요" (ne, jal jinaeyo) is the positive response, "Yes, I've been well."
In Korean culture, these expressions reflect a deep sense of respect and community. Meals are a social event, and it's customary to show concern for others' well-being, often through inquiries about meals and health.
